The NSW Apprenticeship and Traineeship Training Program is an excellent opportunity for so many in the area who are looking to beef-up on their professional skills and be considered a likely candidate for a number of excellent jobs. The idea of the apprenticeship program dates back to the Middle Ages in Europe (and even before in other parts of the world) and is a standard for training and grooming in a particular career field. Apprenticeship students often go on to achieve highly in their careers because they have formed the critical skill-sets that will empower them on their jobs and qualify them for higher pay and faster advancement as well.
Apprentices, by their nature, are to be trained up in the field that they intend to enter and so that they can study and gain on-the-job work experiences that will be valuable in their coming careers. This is a great advantage to the apprentices because it is a perfect preparation for the future job that they hope to have. An apprentice will learn many skills during their time and those enrolled in the ATTP Traineeship Program will be the most likely candidates for the available jobs when they have completed their program of study and gained the all-important on-the-job training. The NSW Apprenticeship 2011 is a perfect prep-ground for those students who are looking forward to their new career focus, but lack the skills necessary to compete for a job.
Apprenticeship and traineeship programs are excellent sources of new employees for companies, and represent a good win-win situation for both the employer and the future-employees as it gives both parties the chance to ‘test the waters’ before diving in head-first. Employers like apprentices for a number of reasons. First, it shows them who is really most serious. If someone is willing to invest a year or two in an apprenticeship training program, it likely means that they are serious about having a productive, long-term career, and therefore is an ideal candidate for the company’s positions.
Companies also like apprenticeship trainees because, during their time of study, they are learning skills that will be critical for their future success when working for the company. When a student is enrolled in such a training, the company knows that they will need to undergo potentially less training when they come on board with their full-time job. This saves time and money for the company.
For the apprentice trainees, they are rewarded in other ways; these may include skill-set training as well as preferential job placement in addition to gaining a great mark for future resumes. The student enrolled in the NSW Apprenticeship and Traineeship training program are being set up for future success in getting a great job. They are demonstrating their commitment to higher education and to learning the skills necessary for their coming career path. These students are demonstrating that they are ‘in it for the long haul’ and are generally very well received when it comes to applying for future positions.
