Flexibility. Fast training. Good Job Prospects. These are all qualities you want in a job. A traineeship in Real Estate can offer just that. Only taking 12 months to complete and including guaranteed work experience for one year, a traineeship in Real Estate allows you to learn office administration, customer relations, and the way to prepare and sell a property.
Many of the lessons you use in the Real Estate traineeship can be used in other careers or in your personal life.
To enter into a Real Estate Traineeship, there are few paper requirements and more personal success factors. You must complete up to year 10 with high scores in English and Maths but do not need a School Certificate.
Should you choose to follow your traineeship with an apprenticeship towards a Certificate III in Property Real Estate or Certificate IV in Property Strata Management, a School Certificate will be necessary.
Additionally, you have to have great communication and people skills. It’s all about the presentation and your manor will either seal the deal or end any potential sale.
You must also be very detail oriented, both in the office and in the properties that you show. If you think you have all of these skills, this traineeship may be for you.
In just 12 short months, you will be prepared to enter the workforce as a qualified Real Estate agent. Unlike an apprenticeship which usually takes four years, a traineeship takes much less time but is quite intensive.
After your traineeship, you have many options. In NSW, the job prospects look good compared to other trade positions. You can either stay with the firm you completed your traineeship with if they wish or you can move onto another company.
Within the Real Estate field, it is always possible to make a name for yourself whether you run your own business or work under a larger firm. No matter what you choose, a Real Estate Traineeship will teach you the lessons you need to be successful across many positions.
