• Construct, erect, install, and repair fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• May be called upon to perform a number of different jobs like wall-framing, installing windows, constructing stairs, laying floors, making cabinets, or ensuring proper ventilation by making brattices.
• Marking and measuring on materials
• Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean working area.

While your salary may be determined on what sort of work you do, where you end up, and what you specialise in, the average carpenter is expected to make  41-72k a year.  However, other factors such as being a business owner, or contractor can lead to a larger salary.
