In this role as a Parks & Gardens Apprentice you will plant and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs and flower/plant beds in public gardens and parks.

All applicants must present up-to-date copies of their academic records from TAFE. OHS General Induction (white card) required. Drivers License essential.

The Daily Deal

As a Parks & Gardens apprentice you will learn the tools of the trade while working alongside a team of highly skilled workers. Here are just some of the duties you will be responsible for:

• Park maintenance
• Tree maintenance
• Weed Control
• Rubbish Removal
• Landscaping
• Street tree planting
• Park furniture and equipment repair
• Making safe damaged infrastructure and surfaces
• Cleansing Services
• Operation of relevant plant and equipment

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Able to undertake manual and heavy work.
• Unaffected by allergies to chemicals and plants.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Observant and methodical.
