Trainee Hospitality (Kitchen Operations)

Employees work in kitchens offering fast food and undertake a range of kitchen functions and activities that require the application of a limited range of practical skills under supervision. This traineeship takes 12 months to complete.

Duties May Include:

  • Follow workplace hygiene procedures;
  • Receive and store kitchen supplies;
  • Clean and maintain kitchen premises;
  • Use basic methods of cookery;
  • Prepare, cook and serve food

Personal Requirements:

  • able to work varying shifts as needed;
  • good communication skills;
  • interest in practical work, good hand coordination;
  • free from skin allergies to foods and detergents.

Education & Training:

  • Minimum year 10 with good results in English and Maths
