Employees work in kitchens offering fast food and undertake a range of kitchen functions and activities that require the application of a limited range of practical skills under supervision. This traineeship takes 12 months to complete.
Duties May Include:
- Follow workplace hygiene procedures;
- Receive and store kitchen supplies;
- Clean and maintain kitchen premises;
- Use basic methods of cookery;
- Prepare, cook and serve food
Personal Requirements:
- able to work varying shifts as needed;
- good communication skills;
- interest in practical work, good hand coordination;
- free from skin allergies to foods and detergents.
Education & Training:
- Minimum year 10 with good results in English and Maths
